AgeWise is a simple utility app that calculates your exact age, shows a countdown to your next birthday, and provides fun date-based facts. The App is designed to function entirely on your device.

🚫 2. Information We Do Not Collect

AgeWise does not collect or transmit the following:

• Your name, email address, or any account information
• Your date of birth or any dates you enter into the App
• Your precise location or IP address
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or phone numbers
• Photos, contacts, or any files from your device
• Any form of behavioral tracking or analytics data

📱 3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device On-Device Only

If you use the Saved Birthdays feature, the names and dates of birth you enter are stored exclusively on your device using local device storage (such as AsyncStorage or SQLite).

• This data never leaves your device
• It is not synced to any cloud service by the App
• You can delete all locally saved data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its data in your device settings

🔐 4. App Permissions

AgeWise requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:

• No camera permission – the App does not access your camera
• No contacts permission – birthdays are entered manually by you
• No location permission – the App does not use your location
• Notifications (optional) – only if you choose to enable birthday reminders. Notifications are generated locally and do not involve external servers

🔗 5. Third-Party Services

AgeWise does not integrate any third-party services that collect personal data, including:

• No advertising SDKs (e.g. AdMob, Meta Audience Network)
• No analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel)
• No crash reporting tools that transmit personal data
• No social media login or third-party authentication

The App is completely ad-free and does not track user behavior for any commercial purpose.

👶 6. Children's Privacy

AgeWise is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because the App does not collect any personal data, it complies with applicable children's privacy regulations, including:

• COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, USA)
• GDPR-K (Children's data provisions under GDPR, EU)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. If you believe any information has been unintentionally collected, please contact us immediately.

🔒 7. Data Security

Since all data remains on your device and no data is transmitted to external servers, the primary security of your information depends on the security of your device (e.g. screen lock, encryption).

We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using device-level security features to protect your locally stored information.

All data stored by AgeWise exists only on your device and is retained until you choose to delete it. You can remove all App data by:

• Uninstalling the App from your device
• Going to Settings → Apps → AgeWise → Clear Data on your Android device
• Using the in-app delete option for individual saved profiles (if available)
